Every two years, SOC conducts a survey to get input from technical standard users on future Wisconsin standard changes. The input gathered from the Technical Standards Assessment (TSA) is used by the custodians [that’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Wisconsin Department Natural Resources (WDNR), and Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)] to help prioritize which standards will be revised or created, what revisions to make, and what standards could use additional outreach and training. The most recent survey results have been compiled into the 2023 Technical Standards Assessment Results.
