The WDNR standard 1002, Site Evaluation for Infiltration, has been revised and is available for comment through Wednesday, July 5, 2017. This standard was revised by a Standards Oversight Council team of experts over the course of the past year.

The intent of the revision was to ensure effective groundwater protection with appropriate considerations for karst topography, ensure designs are sustainable by improving the quality of information collected on site, improve the clarity of the document.

Instructions to comment on standards: Submit your comments by midnight Wednesday, July 5. Keep comments specific and directly related to the standard. You may use Track Changes in the Word document, or otherwise indicate the section or line numbers to which your comments refer. Respond in the same order as the sections appear in the draft. If you have general comments applicable to the entire standard please note them as such.
