Earlier this year, SOC reached out to users of WI technical standards for input to evaluate our process and give technical experts greater opportunity to improve Wisconsin’s technical standards.  SOC conducts this Technical Standards Assessment (TSA) every 2 years.  The input gathered from the TSA is used by the custodians [Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Wisconsin Department Natural Resources (WDNR), and Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)] to help prioritize which standards will be revised, what revisions to make, and what training may be made available.  The survey results from 316 individuals have been compiled into the 2019 Technical Standards Assessment Report.
