NRCS Update: FOTG Notice WI-94

The following technical standards were revised via the SOC Minor Process.

Purpose. Revisions to Wisconsin Conservation Practice Standards and Specifications

Effective DateThis notice is effective upon receipt.

Explanation of Changes.

Section IV: ConservatioPractice Standards and Specifications:

Field Operations Emissions Reduction (Code 376) – Aligned with national standard to bring Wisconsin standard current.
Open Channel (Code 582) – Additional criteria was added to the standard for conversion of an existing ditch to a two-stage ditch.
Stream Clearing and Snagging (WCS 16) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
Wire Mesh Gabions and Mattresses (WCS 17) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
Sack or Tubular Gabion (WCS 18) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
Soil Bioengineering (WCS 20) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
Structural Measures for Stream bank and Shorelines (WCS 21) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
Temporary Wave Barrier (Breakwaters) (WCS 22) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
Construction Surveys (WCS 24) – Additional wording added to the scope clarifying the work is performed by the contractor or other quality control personnel.
Grouted Rock Riprap (WCS 200) – No changes made. Date was revised to make current.
