Dust Control on Unpaved Roads and Surfaces (Code 373) – The National Standard was added to the FOTG since it is referenced in other revised Standards.

Groundwater Testing (Code 355) – The National Standard title was changed from “Well Water Testing” to reflect that the practice can be used to test water from both wells and springs.

Irrigation System, Tailwater Recovery (Code 447) – The revised Standard incorporates minor changes to the National Standard.  The plans and specifications section was completely rewritten.

Irrigation Water Management (Code 449) – The revised Standard incorporates minor changes to the National Standard.  The criteria for plant stress monitoring were updated to include current technology.

Monitoring Well (Code 353) – The National Standard was added to the FOTG since it was referenced in other revised Standards.

On-Farm Secondary Containment Facility (Code 319) – This is a new National Standard that was added to the FOTG to address the need for on-farm secondary containment of oil and petroleum products.  This need is often identified during site assessment for Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans.

Stormwater Runoff Control (Code 570) – The WI Standard contains the criteria for silt fences that were previously removed from Sediment Basin (Code 350).

Trails and Walkways (Code 575) – The National Standard incorporated Trails and Walkways (Code 568) into Animal Trails and Walkways (Code 575) and removed Code 568.

Vegetated Treatment Area (Code 635) – References to Sediment Basin (Code 350) were replaced with Waste Separation Facility (Code 632).
