Standards In Development

The NRCS Stream Crossing conservation practice standard is an example of a standard that may be revised through SOC’s EZ Process. At any given time, SOC typically facilitates up to three teams in developing or revising technical standards through the Full Process, and possibly several others through the EZ Process.

The SOC process relies heavily upon the contributions of individual members of the technical standard work teams. These team members are chosen based upon various criteria, including technical expertise, affiliations, and geographic representation in Wisconsin.

Contact the SOC Coordinator if you are interested in participating and becoming a team member. Review the SOC work plan in order to determine whether your expertise and interests correspond with our upcoming projects.
