New and Updated NRCS Standards

WISCONSIN FIELD OFFICE TECHNICAL GUIDE NOTICE FOTG WI-66

The following revisions to the Wisconsin FOTG have been posted on the Wisconsin e-FOTG website: Section IV

  • Standard 442, Sprinkler System (new name)
  • Standard 450, Anionic Polyacrylamide (PAM) Application (new standard)
  • Standard 574, Spring Development
  • Standard 576, Livestock Shelter Structure (new standard)
  • Standard 591, Amendments for Treatment of Agricultural Waste
  • Standard 606, Subsurface Drain
  • Standard 620, Underground Outlet
  • Construction Specification 300, Clay Liner

 

Explanation of Changes/Revisions:

  • Standard 442 – The revised standard uses the National format and section headings. No significant revisions were made to the existing standard.
  • Standard 450 – This is a new National standard and has been adopted with additions to referencestate codes.
  • Standard 574 – The revised standard uses the National format and section headings. No significant revisions were made to the existing standard.
  • Standard 576 – This is a new National standard and it has been adopted without changes.
  • Standard 591 – The revised standard uses the National format and sectionheadings. It has been adopted without changes.
  • Standard 606 – Revised the section on outlet pipe section length (Table 4) to be consistent with the criteria in Standard 620.
  • Standard 620 – The revised standard uses the National format and section headings. Several sections in the current WI Standard were retained. Revised the section on outlet pipe section length (Table 2) to be consistent with the criteria in Standard 606.
  • Construction Specification 300 – The soil test for percent fines was added to the section on testing to be consistent with the revised Standard 313, Waste Storage Facility.
